3 simple steps to turn overwhelm into bliss.

As a Mompreneur, you are always multitasking, constantly feeling the pull between your business and your children, while trying to have a fulfilling relationship.

This often brings with it overwhelm, frustration and stress, and you find yourself getting short with your children, which I am sure you have experienced before.

Here are three simple and powerful ways how to use overwhelm to show you what is “really” going on.

1. Put on your favorite music, out of your 20tees and dance it out! Throw all the yucky stuff out of your system.

Afterwards sit down in silence and become aware of 3 things, that don’t serve you anymore. Write them on a piece of paper, say “thank you for being in my life, I am letting you go now” and BURN IT.

Overwhelm is nothing but your inability to find your priorities and focus on them through the day.
To make things manageable, it’s important to know what you allow to be part of your life in the future and what needs to go.

So what is it that you keep telling yourself you would like to do but haven’t made any time for over the past few years? Where are you not nourishing yourself? Or in other words, what are you running from?

A lot of my clients and especially women have a tendency to keep themselves so busy, because there is something that they don’t want to feel. Feeling overwhelmed and stressed seems a better alternative to feeling sad and depressed.

2. Feel what there is to feel

If you are stressed and overwhelmed, there is a very good chance that you are not living your purpose.

What are you running from, what are you avoiding?

Create enough quiet time and space for your feelings to come to the surface and stop pushing them away. Know that behind anger and sadness lies a potential, that wants to be integrated.

Only, when you take the time and courage to explore your feelings, they can heal.

3 . Start to journal

This is an idea, I recently received from one of my clients, who makes this a regular morning practice.

She writes down everything that is moving her, from her partner, to her job and her children, whatever comes to mind. After writing all of her thoughts and emotions into the journal, things start to makes sense to her and she usually gets very clear on what needs to be done.

This is a great way to explore what is “REALLY” moving you.
